Ghyll Manor Country House Hotel boasts 29 individually designed bedrooms offering a mixture of charming period features and modern day facilities, promising a memorable stay.
Whatever your needs we have rooms of varying shapes and sizes. Some with an annexe or lounge for extra space and most with breathtaking views over our landscaped gardens and lake.

Our crème de la crème, located within the original 16th century main house, these 9 Individually designed double rooms boast original features, some with four poster bed, all oozing character, elegance and charm.
Superior
For that extra special touch, some of these rooms have stunning views over the grounds or courtyard and four poster bed and/or separate lounge. Many are in the original 16th century main house and boast original features.

Ghyll Manor Cottage
Ghyll Manor Cottage is an utterly charming 17th century two bedroom self catering cottage set across two floors, comfortably sleeping four guests; it has two bedrooms – one double and one twin - each sleeping two people, plus a sofa bed in the lounge. Your own private driveway and parking leads you to the cottage entrance downstairs where you’ll find the galley-style kitchen, leading through to a cosy lounge and dining area. Upstairs there’s one double bedroom complete with original exposed beams and a family bathroom.
There’s plenty of ample storage throughout the cottage, perfect for a comfortable long stay either as a business guest or family holiday. You also have use of a secluded private garden and tennis courts, set amongst the hotel’s 40 acres of landscaped gardens*.

In your cottage
We know you’re on holiday, and the last thing you’ll want to do is make a bed. So, we do it for you! All beds are made up ready for your arrival with all bedding provided including duvet covers & sheets, pillows & pillow cases. For longer stays of ten days or more, your bedding is changed once a week which is a complimentary service included in the price of your stay.
Towels
A set is provided for use during your stay, with enough for every person staying in the cottage. However if you do require any more this can be arranged and a supplement will be charged.
Kitchen Equipment
All cottages come fully equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable self-catering stay including enough crockery, cutlery, glassware for everyone in your cottage. You’ll also find a microwave, slow-cooker, hob, oven and fridge (with a small freezing compartment), and we’ve even included the kitchen sink!
*Please note, on rare occasions the hotel and grounds will be unavailable for use due to an exclusive use wedding or private function. This will usually only apply to a Saturday and we will ensure we make you aware of this when you check in.
